Residents will be with us for 2-3 years and then sent out to lead and serve the church and the world. They will be shown the tools to dynamically teach, preach, and lead God’s people and in the community.

St Stephen’s Church seeks a Trinitarian transitional deacon or priest gifted and passionate to lead adult volunteers in discipling children, young people, and their parents to know Christ and make Christ known to others. In support of and working with lay people, the successful candidate will work closely with and report directly to the Rector, taking her/his place at the Altar as Celebrant and Preacher, in sacerdotal ministry, and will focus on growth in establishing and leading a Family Ministry program which serves young families, one that combines Christian discipleship and serious fun in Christian Education (Sunday School), Youth Group ministry, mission trips, retreats, and outreach events. Salary and benefits based on experience and education.
Compensation also includes domicile in our second rectory, a fully-renovated 2-bedroom condominium with water views at 34 Andrew in Tiburon, CA, 3 miles / 8 minutes from St Stephen’s Church.
